The Hamilton PF Combination Brake Casters, 8-inch are designed for strength, durability, and ease of movement in heavy-duty applications. Featuring a cold-formed, case-hardened steel swivel construction with 1/4″ thick steel, these casters are built to handle significant load demands. Dual rows of steel balls in heat-treated raceways allow for smooth rotation and stability, while the 3/4″ heat-treated kingpin and 1/2″ axle with lock nut add to their reliability. Additionally, the top plate measures 5″ x 5-1/2″ with slotted bolt holes for easy mounting, and lubrication fittings in the swivel and hubs ensure smooth, maintenance-ready operation.

• Swivel Construction: 1/4″ thick steel, case-hardened
• Legs: 1/8″ thick steel
• Kingpin: 3/4″ diameter, heat-treated bolt
• Load Bearings: Dual rows of steel balls in treated raceways
• Axle: 1/2″ bolt with lock nut
• Lubrication Fittings: Swivel assembly and roller bearing hubs
• Top Plate: 5″ x 5-1/2″

Featured Wheel Bearings:

• Precision Ball Bearings – double sealed, maintenance free, superior rollability aids manual applications, not recommended if shock loading is prevalent. 
• Straight Roller Bearing – traditional anti-friction bearing, best for manual applications where shock loading (but no side thrust) is prevalent.
• Delrin Bearings – Chemical and corrosion resistant plastic-type bearing
