OPW Dry Reconnectable 3/4 in. Breakaway Description

Designed with a 350 lb. breaking force, the OPW 66REC is the first dry re-connectable breakaway for conventional fuel dispensing hoses. This breakaway reconnects easily with no kit required: simply push and twist to restore operation.

This innovative breakaway separates when subjected to a designated pull force, with dual valves that automatically seat to stop fuel flow, limit spillage, and protect equipment. When reconnecting, the halves seal tightly on an O-ring before the poppet stems engage to open the valve.

For high-hanging hoses, install with a minimum 9″ “straightening” hose (e.g., OPW 66H).

For low hose applications, the OPW 66REC should be installed downstream of the retractor cable.
